The RION Family invites you to join us at the domain for a tour and tasting of our Great Burgundy Wines and Burgundy Truffles.
Our winery cellar is open for tastings, tours, and purchases on appointment Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5:30pm. Tours are provided in French or English.
If you are interested in a more detailed visit, we suggest looking into our comprehensive tours on our terroirs, our know-how, all the magic of the winemaking process and the mysteries of the Burgundy truffles. A member of the RION family will share their knowledge with you in the vineyard, on our truffle plantation, and in our winery. We offer the tasting in the cellar, where the domain’s wines and truffles can be enjoyed together.
Visit us at our new boutique in the center of Vosne-Romanée – art exhibit, exclusive experiences, crafts, and snacks (truffle sandwich, macarons, biscuits and coffee await). Open from 10:00 to 18:00!
Individual Tours (by appointment : form or email)
Discovery Tour 18 €/pax (from 2 people) : Tour of the cellar and tasting of 5 wines from Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, selected by the family. This tour includes a truffle toast. Duration: 40 minutes.
VIP Tour 32 €/pax (from 2 people): Guided tour of the cellar and tasting of 6 wines from Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, including an old Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru and a truffle toast. Duration: 45 minutes, Mondays to Saturdays.
Signature Tour 50 €/pax (from 2 people) : Guided tour of the winery and the cellars. Explanation of the winemaking process and tasting of 6 wines including 2 Premiers Crus, an old Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru and 2 truffle toasts. Duration : 1h.
Authentica Tour 100 €/pax (from 2 people) : Private guided tour of the winery and the cellars with a member of the family. Prestigious tasting of 8 wines including 3 Premiers Cru wines, an old Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru wine and 2 truffle products. Duration : 1h
Vineyard Superior Tour 70 €/pax (2 to 8 people) : Visit the Terroirs of Vosne-Romanée and the winery’s cellars with the producer, followed by a tasting of 5 wines including 2 Premiers Crus, a more than 10 year old Clos De Vougeot Grand Cru wine and 2 truffle toasts. Tour in English at 14:00 Mondays to Fridays (at 10:00 in French), no tours on Saturdays. Duration 1h30
The Treasures of “La Côte” 85€/pax (from 4 adults): Go truffle hunting with our Lagotto dogwith the producer. Back to the winery, visits the cellars and enjoy a tasting of 5 wines including a more than 10 year old Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru, and 2 truffle toasts. Mondays to Fridays at 9:30 only. Duration: 2h

4 Discovery Workshops
Join one of our 1-hour Masterclass at La Boutique Bernard Rion. From 4 participants, choose your theme and preferred date, Monday to Friday at 10:30 AM or 2:00 PM.
Sensory Exploration – 40€ (from 4 pax): Awaken your five senses and discover wine from a whole new perspective! An immersive tasting experience (including the Touch of Wine) featuring 4 wines from Domaine Rion.
Wines & Chocolates – 40€ (from 4 pax): Dive into a journey where the elegance of Burgundy wines meets the richness and complexity of chocolate. A refined tasting experience featuring 4 wines paired with 4 chocolates from Maison Dufoux.
Truffe’s Cooking – 45€ (from 4 pax): Learn how to cook, preserve, and elevate truffles during a culinary demonstration. Then enjoy a tasting of 3 wines paired with 3 truffle delicacies.
5 Premiers Crus – 65€ (from 6 pax): Taste and discover the secrets of the Terroirs behind 5 exceptional Premier Crus from Domaine Rion (Volnay, Pommard, 2 Nuits Saint Georges & Vosne Romanée).
Group Tours:
For formed groups between 9 and 50 people, different types of tour are proposed : Terroir tour, Privilege tour, Prestige tour,… You can also add options to this tour, such as the tasting of our Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru.
Terroir Tour – 16 €/pax: Tasting with commentary on 5 wines including 3 Regional, 1 Village and 1 Premier Cru appellation, served with a truffle product. Estimated time for the tour: Estimated time for the tour : 1:00
Privilege Tour – 30 €/pax: Tasting with commentary on 5 wines including 1 Regional, 2 Village, 1 Premier Cru and 1 more than 10 years old Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru, served with a truffle product. Estimated time for the tour : 1:00
Prestige Tour – 65 €/pax: At the heart of the Grands Crus, come and discover the vineyard and its “Terroir of Vosne Romanée” during a walk with the winemaker. Back in the cellar, you will have a tasting with commentary on 5 wines including 3 Village and 2 Premier Cru Appellation, served with a truffle product. Estimated time for the tour: 2:00
Option: choose to taste our Grand Cru (Clos de Vougeot) 10€ extra cost/pax: Tasting of our Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru (it will replace a Regional appellation wine).

Terms of payment: Payment at the domain on the day of the tour. Cash, credit cards and vouchers are accepted.
