Advice : A fresh truffle has to be eaten raw or very slightly cooked. It is already cleaned so just rinse it. It will share its arome in contact with fat: eggs, butter, cream or oil.
Conservation : It can be frozen as a whole to be shaved without defrosting. Or frozen in slices to be used directly on your plates and dishes. Even better, you can freeze it as a truffled butter and then you can use it on bread, pasta, rice and potatoes !
